Who Are We?
Goblin are an acclaimed theatre company known for their innovative use of original music. We create shows for all ages and have performed in lots of brilliant venues including runs at the Southbank Centre, National Theatre, Royal Albert Hall and Royal Exchange, Manchester, as well as co-productions with Little Angel Theatre, Polka Theatre, Watford Palace Theatre & Theatre by the Lake. As a creative team we’re based in Scotland and England.
Goblin are Matt, Mary & Will
Matt Borgatti
Matt founded Goblin in 2013. He has been a venue programmer, a theatre manager and a freelance producer. Matt has written, developed and directed various family shows that have been performed all around the UK, including at Southbank Centre, Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Exchange, Manchester and National Theatre. He is a Stage One bursary recipient and was part of the Stage One UK/US Producers Exchange with Columbia University in 2019/2020. Matt has also been Senior Producer at Polka Theatre in Wimbledon & is Youth and Families Producer at The Place.

Mary Erskine
Mary is a classically trained pianist and cellist and acclaimed singer/songwriter, under the name Me For Queen. As Me For Queen she has toured the UK & Europe and has had her songs played on BBC 6Music, Radio 3, Amazing Radio, BBC Scotland & BBC Wales. Follow Mary @MeforQueen and visit www.meforqueen.com
Will Dollard
Will is a songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and music teacher. He is a Senior Teacher at the Da Capo Music Foundation and Head of Music at Christ Church School, Chelsea. He releases music under the name Old Man Dan which can be found HERE
Associate Director: Andrew Barry
Andrew is a theatre maker and director. He currently leads the award-winning Royal Exchange Theatre Elders Company in Manchester. In 2021, Andy was listed in The Stage 100, a list celebrating individuals who have gone above and beyond in helping the theatre industry survive the Covid 19 crisis.
